Soprano Reut Rivka holds a Bachelor and Masters degree in baroque singing and baroque gesture from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where she graduated with great marks. Her repertoire spans from Renaissance to Opera and contemporary music. As a versatile vocalist, she also performs Jazz, World-Music and Improvisation. She has performed with known baroque ensembles such as "La Petite Bande" with Sigiswald Kuijken, has sung with Steven Devine (London Baroque), Peter van Heyghen and many more. She has appeared at Het Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, Dutch National Opera, Anton Philipszaal The Hague, Utrecht Early Music festival et al. She has performed as soloist alongside countertenor Michael Chance at Shanghai's world fair, and sang solo with the Metropole orchestra. As Coloratura Soprano she sang the roles of Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos by R. Strauss, Cunegonde from Candide by L. Bernstein, Adele from Die Fledermasu by J. Strauss, Nerone from Agrippina by Handel. She is a much sought after contemporary music singer, and has sung at the Gaudeamus Muziekweek Festival. In the next season she will sing a solo piece with the Radio France orchestra, which has been composed for her voice.
