Blandine Coulon discovered her passion for singing in the children’s choir of La Monnaie/De Munt. At the age of twelve, she sang her first role on that stage. Now a laureate of the MM Academy of La Monnaie/De Munt, she regularly returns to the Belgian opera house as a soloist.

After completing a master’s degree at IMEP, she further specialized in Baroque repertoire with Stéphane Fuget at the Paris Conservatoire (CRR).

In recent seasons, she made her debut as Despina in Così fan tutte with the Studio Lyrique du PBA de Charleroi. At La Monnaie/De Munt, she has appeared in Les Huguenots (G. Meyerbeer, staged by Olivier Py) and A Song for the Moon (M. Wantenaar). She also took part in two world premieres: Fanny & Alexander (M. Karlsson, staged by Ivo Van Hove) and Bovary (H. Noben).

She has performed at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie (Liège) in Le Dernier Sorcier (P. Viardot) and regularly collaborates with the ensemble Musiques Nouvelles.

Since 2023, she has been working with the company Théâtre d’un Jour on their production RECLAIM, in which she combines circus and acrobatic arts with her musical practice.

This season, she appears in L’Enfant et les Sortilèges at Bozar, Bovary at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, and tours with RECLAIM.
