Oonagh loved to dance her way through life as a child, which eventually led her to the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp. Wanting to develop her versatility beyond dance, she went on to study musical theatre at the Conservatory of Brussels.
After her studies, she performed in a variety of major musicals, occasionally taking on notable roles, including Cats (Paris), A Chorus Line (Netherlands), and in Belgium, productions such as Next to Normal, Sunset Boulevard, and Kinky Boots.
Beyond performing, she enjoys shaping productions creatively as part of the artistic team.
She choreographed Rent and L’île au trésor. And in 2025 she directs her first revue show.
Her voice can often be heard in radio commercials and animated films, including well-known titles such as Encanto, Sing 2, and Wicked.
Oonagh feels most at home in a multidisciplinary environment, as it allows her to collaborate with artists from different fields and explore new creative paths.
This approach led her, for example, to the production Mystica by Muziektheater Transparant.
Just as she did in her childhood, Oonagh continues to find strength and joy in spontaneous, free movement: It remains her favorite outlet, whenever words cannot express what she feels.
