Matteo Sedda is a choreographer, dancer, and activist of Sardinian origin, currently based in Brussels.

Since 2018, Sedda has been developing a choreographic research marked by his experience with HIV, as an homage to artists who died from AIDS-related complications. Exploring the tension between eros and death, he reappropriates the codes of past dances to create a dialogue between historical memory and artistic reinterpretation. In this crossing between past and present, his infected body becomes the starting point for a new choreographic writing.

Winner of the DNAppunti Coreografici 2024 award with his choreographic duet FUCK ME BLIND, he joined the choreographer network of Réseau Grand Luxe in 2025.

As an activist, he shares his personal experience to provide information and support regarding HIV. He collaborates with various European organisations, including LILA, Sensoa, Ex Aequo, and Plateforme Prévention Sida.
