Fleur Perneel (b. 1996) is a multidisciplinary maker and performer with a background in circus, dance, mime, and visual arts. She graduated from the Lido in Toulouse as a circus artist specialising in Acrodance, and prior to that, she completed a bachelor's degree at KASK in Ghent (Visual and Installation Art). In her own creations, she explores physical theatre and performance, as well as building and experimenting with musical instruments and other (self-made) objects. In her solo performance *De kleine finale van Hert* (The Little Finale of the Deer), she portrays both the hunter who fails to shoot and the deer that fails to die. In *The Winner Takes It All*, she collaborated with Maria Zandvliet to explore the connection between an Abba song and the language of fascism. Together with Hendrik van Maele, she delves into the fetishism surrounding sheep. Additionally, she works as a dancer, acrobat, and performer with various creators and companies both nationally and internationally. These include the non-profit Krapp/KVS, Lotte Boonstra, Het Scheldeoffensief, Cirq Gent, Cy La Fauve, Cy Nicanor de Elia and Joke Raes. Fleur also works as a musician, currently in the band Wendy Speed, a project by Arthur Daneels. She sings, as well as playing the trumpet and accordion, preferably all at the same time.
