MABEL OLEA (Lleida, 1997) is a dancer and choreographer. She trained in Choreography and Interpretation at the Conservatory Superior of Dance of the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona.

For several years now, she has been working on her own stage pieces with the intention of tracing new narratives in the field of dance and performance that allow us to rethink the formats of creation from humor and irony with bodies that propose positions and movements that play with the extremes, flexibility and malleability of this.

During the 20-21 theater season, she premiered her first piece JAPAN. She is currently creating her second piece CUT ONE'S TEETH, which will premiere next year, 2026. Since 2020, she has been exploring THE BIG CITY from a more performative format, presented in spaces such as La Casa Encendida and the Barcelona Biennial de Pensament 2024, among others.

In parallel with the exploration of her own proposal as an artist, she works with other creators from the world of dance and performance, as well as audiovisual, cinema, theatre or opera, such as Marta Pazos, Marie Gyselbrecht, Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo, Nuria Guiu, Les Impuxibles, Pablo Messiez, Rigoberta Bandini...
