Performer and creator in the performing arts. “I use historical and popular materials to invite horizontality, questioning, and tolerance through a contemporary, personal lens.”
Vilajuana works across music (voice, piano, guitar, pandeireta, and castañuela) contemporary dance and theater. He has performed in Dagoll Dagom’s Maremar. As a composer and performer, he has released the solo albums Solstici and Equinocci (2022). He has sung with the Schola Gregoriana de Catalunya and the Georgian polyphony ensemble Vocal Vircan.
In 2023, he opened Festival Terrer at Cartoixa d’Escaladei, directing a choir performing medieval sacred repertoire and original minimalist compositions. He appears as a musician in Acte de Fe by Carlos Martorell (a project combining medieval monody and AI), and as a singer-dancer in Kórps and Parrà by Miquel Barcelona.
Currently, he continues touring with his albums, which explore Catalan song, minimalism, Iberian popular music, ancient modal chant, and improvisation and he engages in collective performance through Gregotechno.
