The Belgian-Moroccan draws inspiration from the various repertoires of her North African origins, and has nourished her vocal style with jazz and world music, as well as many other encounters made over her eclectic career, such as Studio Pagol, Ys, Oblomow, (with Vera Coomans & Eva De Roovere) Qayna, Uit de Bol (Fabrizio Cassol & Alain Plattel), Shouting Fence, DJ Grazzhoppa's DJ Bigband, D-Radicalized & BOHO Strings Quartet, Askanyi , Arabanda, Bast (with Erwin Vann & Michaël Grébil), TriOde, Sheikhs Shikhats & B'net Chaabi (with Laurent Blondiau), and Tuur Florizoone. For more than 25 years, these diverse collaborations offered her the opportunity to develop a very personalized practice of traditional sounds while utilizing a contemporary approach, which allows her to be both Belgian and Moroccan.
