Bass - baritone Frank Wörner (1965) was trained in music and singing at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel and at the Stuttgart Opera School. Besides his performances at the operas of Heidelberg, Brunswick, Trieste, Bologna and Salvador, Wörner has sung Lieder and oratoria at the Vianna Festival, Ars Musica Brussels and the Musiktage in Bad Urach.
In recent years, he has collaborated with the Ensemble Contrechamps, the Berlin Kammerensemble, the Klangforum in Vienna and the Ensemble Phoenix in Basel. Frank Wörner teaches singing at the Pädagogische Hockschule Ludwigsburg and the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart.
