The Spanish-Belgian saxophonist, composer, and improviser based in Brussels was trained in jazz at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. Their artistic practice and projects mingle different musical styles and art forms. Their main project Bodies, active since 2022, mixes influences from jazz and improvised music with grooves from different popular styles and electronic textures. Since June 2023, they have a solo project that integrates performative elements, text and breath art. They are currently touring with the French hip hop band Chinese Man. Alejandra is also active in the research field of gender identity and expression, as well as in the fight against sexist and sexual violences, hosting interviews with gender minorities within the Brussels community.
