Paule Josephe is the clothing brand headed by Hannah Vanspauwen and Tiny Geeroms. A shared fascination for movement, aesthetics and stories drives them to seek out new ways of producing, communicating and consuming, from their own studio near Brussels. The colours and textures that surround them there on a daily basis serve as the inspiration for illustrations and material choices. The PJ studio works exclusively via upcycling: drawings, embroidery techniques and fabric manipulation are used to breathe new life into deadstock and second-hand fabrics. This way of working ensures that every piece of clothing is unique, one size and handmade.
