Clara Cleymans (1989, Wilrijk) is a Belgian actress and singer who works mainly for television. She is familiar to the general public from the series Quiz me QuickThuis, the satirical series Tegen de Sterren op and the Sunday evening series De Ridder, in which she spent four years playing the public prosecutor Helena De Ridder. She has also appeared in several feature films including Groenten uit BalenHappy Together and the arthouse film Kill me please. In addition to acting, she also graduated in Philosophy from Antwerp University and in Piano at the academy of music.

For the last few years she has also been working on the stage. Chiefly under the wing of Comp. Marius, with which she tours in the productions Figaro and Charles Dickens’ Our Mutual Friend, in both Belgium and France. Her stage experience started before her professional career, however. At the age of 8 she first walked the boards as little Cosette in the musical Les Misérables, which was followed by other musicals, including Cinderella and Tintin and the Temple of the Sun. She made her first return to the world of musicals in Fiddler on the Roof, directed by Frank Van Laecke, in 2011.

In recent years she has also emerged as a singer and musician. She has performed in just about every cultural centre with such musical productions as Diep in mij, a tribute to YasmineKleinkunsteiland and Club 27, a production she created together with her husband and in which she shows off her talents as a singer, pianist and violinist.
