Sandra Delgadillo (1982) is a dancer and choreographer, with extra skills in martial arts, Thai massage, jazz vocals, hip-hop and Latin dance. From 2000 to 2004 she studied Contemporary Dance and Choreography at the Hoger Instituut voor Dans in Lier, where she danced in Scratching the Inner Fields by Wim Vandekeybus. Later came creations from figures including Iris Bouche, Keski'espace, Benjamin Vandewalle, AMORA studio New York, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui & Damien Jalet. In 2019, Sandra shared a stage with Dahlia Pessemiers Benamar in Dihya (hetpaleis & Action Zoo Humain). In Belgium she took care of the choreography for DagDag (Marieke Van Leeuwen at hetpaleis), Apekool met Frietjes (with Marie De Corte for Villanella), Schrijven zonder woorden (Hussein Al-Khalidi) and Als we dansen zal oma niet sterven (Zomer Van Antwerpen & Madam Fortuna). Internationally, she made Matchbox & Fire in La Paz, Bolivia. From inclusive dance and movement coaching for a Hooverphonic music video to a plethora of workshops and projects in art education and teaching settings: Sandra is at home in many markets and has mastered a movement alphabet that everyone can easily understand.
