Max Greyson (1988) is a poet, performer and theatre maker. In 2015 he became vice-champion at the Dutch National Poetry Slam championship, and his poetry collections Waanzin went niet (2016) and Et Alors (2019), as well as his debut novel Een waarschijnlijk toeval (2021) were published by De Arbeiderspers. Since 2019, Max has also been poet in residence at CC De Kern. He is also an artistic member of the Un-Label Performing Arts Company, which produces inclusive international dance theatre performances. For the European productions Verfluchtigung, L, Gravity and Re:Construction, he collaborated with dancers, musicians and actors with and without disabilities, and developed a methodology around inclusive musical theatre which led to performances in Germany, Turkey, Italy, Greece and Belgium. Max works as an artistic researcher at the Conservatoire of Antwerp, exploring the artistic integration of audio description for the blind and partially sighted in musical theatre. And since 2014 he has been artistic director and general manager of ARType vzw, a musical theatre company with affinity for the spoken word.
