Damani Leidsman is an artist, educator and producer mostly working in music, movement and performance. As a cultural worker, their practice is informed by African- and diasporic oral traditions, healing work and Afro-futurist praxis. They release music as Mushroom Mosis and are currently researching ways in which artistic production can double as a space for healing and joy. Additionally, they are vegan, perpetually hopeful and looking for art to decorate their living space.
