Kristof van Baarle

Kristof van Baarle is a dramaturg and researcher. Since 2013 he has worked as a permanent dramaturg for Kris Verdonck / A Two Dogs Company and as a freelancer with Michiel Vandevelde, Thomas Ryckewaert and Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe, among others. In addition, Kristof works as a doctoral assistant at the Research Centre for Visual Poetics at the University of Antwerp and as a tutor at KASK - School of Arts. Together with Peter Eckersall he edited the book Machine Made Silence. The Art of Kris Verdonck (2020, published by Performance Research Books) and with Christel Stalpaert and Laura Karreman he put together Performance and Posthumanism (published by Palgrave MacMillan, 2021). After being part of the editorial team at Etcetera (2015-2020), since 2021 Kristof has been associate editor of the magazine Performance Research.
