Freija Van Esbroeck (1981) obtained a Master in the Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (2005). For five years now, she teaches at the Hagelandse Academy for the Arts and the Slac institute in Louvain. In 2008 she obtained her degree of creative counsellor.
Throughout these years, she kept working as an artist, developing her own visual idiom over different media.
In the theatrical world, Freija was involved in different projects: De gelukkige prins (2006, 2012) and Territoria (2012). In 2010, she and Paul Delissen made two animated films for the childrens' play Porselein, a production for Muziektheater Transparant.
