A story about growing up, friendship and resistance. Nabila hopes to find happiness in the big city as she flees rual life away from her parents.
Nabila runs away from the safe but dull and predictable life she has with her parents in the countryside. She hopes to find happiness in the metropolis. She escapes, with the voice of a spirit as her enticing guide. Once in the city she becomes lost, but survives and finds friendship and love. Until the city is thoroughly shaken up and towers that grow and grow, cast dark shadows over the future.
“... a beautiful music theatre performance on a formal level... Aline Goffin tells the story in a very fascinating way .... Also the interaction between live text and recorded text that seamlessly merge into one another is very clever. When spoken text is heard, this performance offers a very clever surround experience.”
