Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia is one of the best known operas in history. Among other things, the iconic aria Largo al factotum is world famous. DESCHONECOMPANIE presents this The Barber as a prologue to their adaptation of Le Nozze. The Countess - again interpreted by Ineke Nijssen - and Cherubino (Jef Hellemans) perform the spectacular and grotesque opera as an intimate duet. Together with pianist Wouter Deltour and an opera singer, they go in search of the time when love still provoked an uncompromising struggle.
