Between High Mass and the Fair, a horse and wagon roll through the Flemish fields

The actors arrive at the party by horse and cart. They sing of the seasons, life, love and the village or town the play is set in. Following in the footsteps of their medieval predecessors, they bring three stories as modern troubadours. Part one sings of death, a miracle play takes you to part two, and in part three, you find your way home to a local myth.

With a touch of acrobatics, communal singing, and plenty of delightful madness, the performers bring about the rebirth of the ancient Flemish Pageant. A living ritual, a contemporary celebration of art, community, laughter, singing, dreaming, and crying.

Everyone is welcome to watch, experience, and participate themselves. After all, the Pageant cart is also a place where the village and the people themselves are put in the spotlight.
