A musictheatreproject about two mythical characters from the American West: Calamity Jane and Billy the Kid.
After reading Michael Ondaatje’s The Collected Works of Billy the Kid and listening to Calamity Jane to Her Daughter of Ben Johnston, Jean Lacornerie got the idea of pairing this legendary herois of the Far West. Gavind Bryars created new music for Bertrand Belin who will be interpretating Billy the Kid and for Claron McFadden who will interpretate all the female characters he met (Sally Chisum, Angela Dickinson and Paulita Maxwell).
