The search for a contemporary immobile theatre, based on music and Maeterlinckian texts.
It seems as if there is no difference between today's attitude towards life and the sentiment of the early 20st century, which the Ghent Nobel Prize winner for literature, Maurice Maeterlinck, describes in his mysterious, symbolist texts. His only answer: ‘stand still, be silent, maybe sing.’ Swiss theatre magician Thom Luz uses music and Maeterlinckian texts to search for a contemporary immobile theatre.
