Ivan Fatjo Chaves (°1980, Costa Rica) studied music and drama at the Castella Academy of Arts in Costa Rica and dance at the CNDC d’Angers in France. He performed among others in the works of Nathalie Béasse, Anne Hirth & Christian Kesten, Hans Van Den Broeck, Harold Henning and Eric Fessenmeyer. Since 2007 he is a close collaborator of Josef Nadj. As a choreographer he created Mine with Pascal Merighi (2009), Madriguera with Estelle Delcambre in collaboration with the musicians Akosh Szelevényi and Gildas Etevenard (2011), Révolutions with Jörg Muller and Akosh Szelevényi (2012). Since 2003 he gives workshops for amateurs and professional dancers and regularly works with mentally disabled people.
