An D’Huys (1964), born in Belgium, studied Fashion Design at the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Since the eighties she has been at work as a costume designer for various theatre productions, such as Lazarus (Ivo van Hove, New York Theatre Workshop), A View from the Bridge (Ivo van Hove, The Young Vic), The Fountainhead, Antigone, Kings of war en Othello (Ivo van Hove, Toneelgroep Amsterdam),  Medea, Husbands and wives (Simon Stone, Toneelgroep Amsterdam), The Misanthrope (Ivo van Hove, Schaubühne Berlin), Poquelin, Summerfolk, The Cherry Orchard, Platonov (TG STAN, Antwerpen).

For the Vlaamse Opera she designed costumes for Die Walküre, Siegfried, and Götterdämmerung directed by Ivo Van Hove. For La Monnaie Brussels she designed the costumes for La Clemenza di Tito, directed by Ivo Van Hove. For Anne-Teresa De Keersmaker, Rosas Brussels, she designed the costumes for Quartet, Bitches brew, and Kassandra. In addition, D’Huys also did work for the film world: Toto le heros (Jaco van Dormael) Rosie (Patrice Toye).

An D’ Huys was 11 years a member of the design team of Ann Demeulemeester. Since 2002 she is working together with Ivo Van Hove.
